1.0 General Terms and Conditions

1.1 This website is managed jointly by the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations, Employment and Training (MLIRE) and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM).

1.2 The services provided on this website are meant for jobseekers and employers and are subject to terms and conditions as laid out below. Once users accept the terms and conditions, such terms and conditions become binding upon them. MLIRE and IOM may revise the terms and conditions without any prior notice.

1.3 Access to this website is public. However, users who access this website should understand that while on this website they are agreeable to the monitoring of all their visits and to ensuring compliance with the applicable laws, rules and regulations governing the hacking, the breaking into, and modifying the contents, or the posting of any document or information which may violate the copyright laws or other laws of Mauritius as applicable.

2.0 Specific Terms and Conditions for employers

2.1 This website has been designed to provide an electronic platform for matching jobs offered by employers with the profiles of jobseekers.

2.2 Employers will be required to register online to be given access to the services provided through this website.

2.3 MLIRE or IOM will activate the registration account of the employer only after verification and acceptance of the information provided online.

2.4 Information provided on the database within the website is not verified by MLIRE and IOM.

2.5 MLIRE and IOM will not be liable for any errors, inaccuracies or incompleteness of the information provided by you on this website.

2.6 All visitors to the website will be able to view details of vacancies posted both through the website and by the Employment Service. However, matching between job vacancies and jobseekers will be possible only to subscribers of the website.

2.7 There is no guarantee that employers will secure workers/suitable workers through this website.

2.8 Accounts which will remain idle for a period of 6 consecutive months or more will be deactivated. An employer whose registration has been deactivated may make a request for registration on this website at any time.

2.9 MLIRE and IOM have implemented reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, MLIRE and IOM cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or make improper use of your personal information.

2.10 MLIRE and IOM will at all times have access to all information posted on this website by subscribers.

2.11 MLIRE and IOM reserve the right, at their discretion to suspend, change, add or remove parts of the content at any time and to restrict the use and accessibility to the website.

2.12 All data obtained on jobseekers by an employer will be used solely for his own recruitment exercise in respect of jobs that will be advertised on this website and in conformity with the Data Protection Act 2004 and the IOM Data Principles and shall not be shared with a third party or used for commercial or any other purpose other than for his recruitment exercise.

2.13 MLIRE and IOM reserve the right to restrict or deny an employer access to this website if the employer fails to comply with any of the terms and conditions.
