Special consideration to registered jobseekers for the COVID-19 curfew period.

The Employment Division of the Ministry of Labour, Human Resource Development and Training wish to inform all jobseekers who are registered at their respective Employment Information Centre (EIC) and who had to maintain their registrations for the months of March, April and May 2020 respectively will exceptionally be exempted for their absence in reporting during these three months.

All registered jobseekers willing to maintain their registration, should report in person or by phone to their respective EIC on their next reporting month as follows:

a)     Those who had to report in March 2020 will be required to report in July 2020.

b)     Those who had to report in April 2020 will be required to report in August 2020, and

c)     Those who had to report in May 2020 will be required to report in September 2020
