Communique - Work Permits and Registration of Jobseekers
MINISTRY OF LABOUR, HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING
COMMUNIQUE-WORK PERMITS AND REGISTRATION OF JOBSEEKERS
The Ministry of Labour, Human Resource Development and Training wishes to inform all employers, jobseekers and the public in general that:
(i) applications for the renewal of existing work permits will have to be made online through the e-work permit platform at https://www.workpermit.mu and arrangements for payment be made upon verification and approval;
(ii) all other applications such as for Recruitment Licences should be submitted by post until further notice;
(iii) as regards registration of jobseekers at the Employment Information Centres (EICs), they are requested to submit their registration online on https://mauritiusjobs.govmu.org. Job seekers will be requested to create an account on the website with a valid email address.
The Ministry may be contacted on phone numbers 4050112/4050114/ 4050167 for queries pertaining to work permits and on phone numbers 4050126/4050127/4050129 for registration of job seekers.
